THE TIME WARP AGAIN, ETC

HELLO I COME BEARING PLOT. This plot is going to be primarily player run, and as widespread or as narrow focused as you like. It could easily involve the whole game or just a few people. It is optional, but radical.

The idea: TIME TRAVEL.

The structure of this time travel plot will be thus:

PART ONE
Ten years in the future of CH, there has been a Bad End. For those unfamiliar, this means that everything has gone to SHIT through some means or another, and is tonally a post apocalyptic world of tomorrow. The nature of this “apocalypse” will depend on player plotting, and the people who want to step up to be bad guys. Has someone risen up to become an evil cyborg overlord? Have Alternians taken over the planet? Has TRIDENT taken over CONDOR? These are the questions that we must answer.

Everyone who wants in will get to make a gritty, dark future AU version of their characters. An INCIDENT will occur that will send a group of these characters into THE PAST (aka present game time) in an attempt to stop whatever bullshit has caused the future to suck so much. This could be one event, or multiple.

The important thing is that we have a team of time travelers in Los Angeles attempting to fix the future, and weirding everyone out. They must acquire some kind of MacGuffin, or stop some disaster.

PART TWO
With the mission more or less in hand, the time travelers will travel to the future – and this time, they will be bringing a motley of past people with them, to experience the rotten world of tomorrow. Why? Because they need help doing some kind of thing, most likely dicking with a time machine in a way that will properly reset the timeline instead of creating an offshoot.

So they are basically fighting to make their timeline no longer exist.

At any rate, they need backup. Time will move along in both timelines more or less linearly, though there can be some variation for convenience. How this part ends really depends on you.


So what we need to do here is PLAN. Who wants in? Who wants to timetravel? Who wants to be villains?

Use the comments below to decide. The plot will start mid November and will proceed indefinitely, since the rest of the world will be able to continue on regardless.

If nobody else steps up, I'm up for this guy being Evil World Overlord (or having a part in thereof). At the same time if someone else would prefer to take that spot I am super down with him basically sealing off his place from everything else (or dying in the attempt).

I'm also up for him having a direct hand in the events that led up to whoever the Evil World Overlord is; that is, doing something that needs to be stopped here and now to prevent ~the future~!

Okay, so general concept is now Him VS Unikitty in war for full control of the world. Sov has control of most of Asia at this point, possibly more, with the Sovereign Nations of Something Or Other. (the name needs work). It's basically out of 1984/"We", complete with a false resistance group that he uses to isolate troublemakers/distract them towards useless things/deal with as need be.

Sovereign himself is more and more obsessed with finding some science or sorcery that will allow him to prolong his life, due to what happens when he dies. And because of that he's also more and more obsessed with controlling everything, and is basically subconsciously scapegoating Unikitty as everything in his path to his goals; if only he controlled the world he could push it towards saving his soul, etc. Some other notes I have (prone to correction)

• Horribly murdered Celestia trying to get her Sun Medallian
• Very possibly razed Equestria to the ground
• Has Starscream (& whatever Decepticons still listen to him) as his errand boys
• Murdered Gajeel when Gajeel turned on him & tried to take the hit for someone
• Screwed over Black Ghost
• Very possibly screwed over Bael as well but either way CYBORG ARMY
• Has a not-daughter who is a mafia boss planning to betray him
• FIGHTS AGAINST BIGHT AND CHEERY COLORS grimdark 5evr

Veloci will probably have been outed as an evil dinosaur and unfortunately for him will NOT be in with any evil overlord stuff going on, meaning he'll most likely be either dead or Hiding From The Law

I want Sollux to have ascended to supervillain in the future, though the specifics are flexible.

Future Katniss is almost certainly no longer around, but I may involve her in some wacky time hijinx since she's already a time traveller.

I have NO IDEA what Signless is doing, but it will probably depend on the rest of the set up.

FUTURE!TERRY is evil, probably excessively powered in the fear department because of Magic Reasons and wears a lot of Cool Goth Suits. I have no idea what his motivations are beyond Misanthropy and Being A Dick but really who cares. Will probably not be coming to the present but can mos def be around in the future if people want to harass him.

FUTURE!RAIDEN is a quasi-emotionless battlebot/vigilante who has EVEN LESS qualms about killing the shit out of people than he has now. PRRROBABLY WON'T BE COMING TO THE PRESENT? I haven't decided yet.

FUTURE!CHRIS is a roguish anti-hero type with stubble and scars and is worryingly buff when compared to current Chris. Also his arms are now full of weapons because why the fuck not. (Think Adam Jensen except maybe not with the Typhoon or maybe WITH THE TYPHOON this is not set in stone.) His fashion sense has vastly improved in the near future and also he will be in the present because this is a gift you all need in your lives.

CURRENT!TERRY will be sticking in the present, though he may be helping with the whole co-ordinating this clusterfuck of a situation with CONDOR and whatnot.

CURRENT!CHRIS is up in the air, he may want to go to the future he may want to stay here. idk what to do with him.

CURRENT!RAIDEN is going to want to kick ass in the future it's gonna be great guys, you can trust him he has a lot of weapons and can do sweet backflips.

Future!Maxxie is coming back to the present. He's all buff and gritty and looks generally like he's been through hell but the scars are pretty handsome on him.

Future!Nilin is probably a bounty hunter or something, honestly. If any supervillains want to make use of her skills, she's yours. She's done whatever it takes to survive while also being able to punch things, so make of that moral code what you will.

Future!Finnick is not around. TBD.

Present!Maxxie is really worried about this older version of himself sitting in his kitchen and drinking his beer. He might go to the future or he might not.

Present!Nilin may want to go to the future even if it's just to figure out how she lived through what is apparently an awful thing that happened. She's curious and she wants to be prepared, alright. But she's totally here to fix things.

Present!Finnick is also up in the air there may be OTHER TIME TRAVEL SHENANIGANS HAPPENING who the hell knows.

Future Black Ghost has probably fallen off the Evil Overlord Ladder, probably because someone (Sovereign/Baelheit) managed to wrest control of TRIDENT from underneath him. He has now gone back to his roots as the vigilante Skull Man and is basically acting as the bitter angry uncle of the future heroes. I'm not planning on him going to the past currently but he'll certainly be around for Phase 2

What Magnus is up to depends entirely on what the Autobots have planned and what his relationship with Arcee Prime is cause they didn't exactly have a great rapport last time she was in command.

is he in charge of the CONDOR RESISTANCE? what's left of ALPHA FORCE? idk but nobody listens to him. he has MYSTERIOUS SCARS from a fight with a magical (bird?) supervillain or something, or maybe they just represent his emotional damage
