Hi all! My name is Juniper and I'm new in these parts. I bring you one Leoben Conoy from Battlestar Galactica. For those who know the show, you'll know that he's not exactly a hero for most of canon. Now that [crazy ridiculous spoilers for the crazy ridiculous ending] have happened, though, he's kind of trying to work on that and do a little better, so he's joining CONDOR to better humanity and keep an eye on Kara. He'll be coming in as a legitimate n00b, as he's only just woken up here and been picked up by CONDOR.

Oh, and for those who don't know, he's also a crazy prophetic robot. I've put a permissions post up in his journal for his psychic/prophetic abilities. Please go fill it out when you get a chance! I also have a section about tagging permissions, because he is a gross creepy asshole in canon and I suspect not everyone will be comfortable with those aspects of his character.

As for me, I can be found at ricinbeens or on AIM at ricinbeens. I'm in EST and usually found online in the late afternoon/early evening. I'm really excited to be joining the game! I will post up an intro log for him soon.

Crystalline material reported missing from CONDOR laboratories

The scientists researching the disappearance of key Alpha Team member Druid, Fissure, and Zoom were shaken early Saturday morning when they found the crystalline material found at the site of the sinkhole to be missing.

"Either there was a struggle or the thief had no self control - [we] found things wrecked in locations all over the labs," a lab tech reported. The secure areas where the crystals were being stored during analysis had been completely turned over, according to police. The glass vials containing them had been violently smashed, and a variety of expensive machinery damaged.

More mysteriously, at no point did the doors leading into the area appear to have been unlocked or opened.

"We're almost certainly dealing with a powered criminal," a key investigator went on record saying. "Whatever they wanted it for, they were very thorough. Even very small samples that had been far away from the others were taken during the night."

Motives for the theft remain unknown.
