Hi gang! Now that we've got our first six people actually accepted into the game, I thought we should make a post to welcome people on board! The game proper will start on the 28th, and in the meantime we'd like to encourage everybody to get to know each other and work out which characters already know each other and stuff like that. We'll be putting a post up for establishing pre-game CR and stuff like that in the imminent future, so keep an eye out for that.

Feel free to use this post for OOC mingling and introductions. We're really excited about running this game, and also to get to know you guys – that is, those of you we don't know already!

HELLO EVERYBODY! I'm Harry, I am one of your mods! I love taking things that I like and mashing them gently into other things that I like, so this kind of panfandom AU where the elements of the setting are in large part determined by the source material of the characters that app into it is basically my favourite thing. I hope we can throw together something great here!

The characters I'll be playing to start out with are Celestia, the immortal sun queen of the hidden Pacific island of Equestria (she isn't a horse) who has been acting on and off as a member of Alpha Force since the 1960s, and, depending on apps, may be the sole surviving member of its current roster (please don't let this happen, please app more Alpha Force characters), Karkat Vantas, a political refugee from an evil space dictatorship and West Coast Trailblazers trainee, and Vanessa Goldpaw, the science genius director of Goldpaw Technologies who is living the furry dream, or something. I need to draw more icons for, like, all of these guys. (Although if anybody knows of any human Princess Celestia fanart where she looks like someone who could be native to a secret Pacific island then hit me up for sure.)

Currently my time zone is GMT but my sleep cycle is whacked because of a combination of jetlag and Visa stress, so it's anybody's guess when I'll be awake! In March I'm going to be moving to the middle of Canada, though, to live with Quix. If we end up recruiting any more mods the law dictates that they have to come and live with us too. Sorry those are the rules

HELLO I am Quix, the other mod. I am equally enthusiastic about ridiculous crossovers, and I can already tell this setting is really going to whirl my gig. I am super pumped to meet all of you.

My starting characters are: Katniss Everdeen, time traveler and girl on fire. She does not actually set on fire, thank god. However, she was sent into the past for her protection and now she's hanging out with the Trailblazers as a temporal refugee. Second (appropriately) is Sollux Captor, an Alternian troll that was captured by TRIDENT when he attempted to find sanctuary on Earth. He has only just recently escaped, with a year of unwanted experimentation and implants as a result. Lastly is Jack the Plaid, slacker porn connoisseur turned powerful and wise wizard, and the current Sorcerer Supreme. Which is a title we ripped straight from Marvel, and mostly means he is the King Wizard of the Enclave for the moment. Mostly he is really just laid back, though. Perhaps TOO laid back.

I think I'm from MST, but the key thing is that I live in Saskatchewan. My plurk is quixocalypse and you should super add me because I love plurkin. My AIM is uncannyArtisan, and my Tumblr is also quixocalypse.

Hey guys! You can call me Lex, I am relatively new to the whole DWRP experience but have been wanting to get back into RP stuff for a while so please be patient with me (any advice or feedback would be awesome).

Right now I'm just going to be joining with one character till I get the hang of things. I'll be starting out with Metabee from Medabots, a small robot and prototype CONDOR weapon with a bunch of guns and 90s attitude who is currently serving with the West Coast Trailblazers under CONDOR supervision.

Hello! I'm chairman, I was in jarjammed for a bit before losing steam (I was Erik and Delirium), and haven't done much rp since.

I'm joining with Sun Wukong, the titular Monkey King from Journey to the West. He's kind of a braggart, out of his time, and unaffiliated currently (I DEFINITELY don't want to keep him that way, *hint hint*). He's generally out of control, but given time may change drastically. He's also overpowered but doesn't care about using the power.

Hi I'm z! I'm gonna be playing Rielle "Kit" Peddler from Android: Netrunner, which is a really nerdy cyberpunk card game (vaguely like magic the gathering). dontlookatme.

Kit is 20, and she's a pretty powerful technopath, and is famous on the internet for her HACKING SKILLS. her main goal in life is to transcend her physical form and live on the internet, via replacing her body parts with robot parts piece by piece. so far she only has one robot arm and some brain implants, but EVENTUALLY THERE WILL BE MORE. Kit isn't really great at meatspace but she does mostly enjoy being friends with people!! she has a weird sense of humor and a lot of her joke attempts are like vaguely creepy philosophical statements or have very complicated programming-based punchlines, but SHE TRIES.

At some point I do want to get some folks together and watch the '95 Cold Comfort Farm movie. The book is weird and hilarious, and contains some of the best horrible-on-purpose turgid prose I have ever read.

Hey everyone! I'm Ashanti, and I was in Changed for a few months before my life became a swirling hell of college applications. Now that said swirling hell is over, though, I am super excited to bring in Cynthia from Fire Emblem: Awakening!

Cynthia is pretty much the epitome of enthusiastic. About everything, but especially about being a hero. She's studied up on what heroes do, and she's decided that the best way for her to be a truly awesome hero is to make dramatic entrances, say memorable catchphrases to her enemies before battle, and strike stylish poses while surrounded by flames. She's currently a trainee with the Trailblazers. Her powers are flight and telekinesis, but she's not too good at either (especially the telekinesis). She sure as heck is eager to get better, though. She's very positive and friendly, too, so she will try to get along with as many people as she can!

I'll be playing Apollo Justice from the Ace Attorney series, who is mostly like canon, but has some additional powers and was a former teen superhero before he quit and went on to become a lawyer. He'll be abusing the fact that he can still post on The Watch, but is otherwise a civilian that might end up poking his nose into a few things.
